Hello VIRPIL Controls BFM Cup participants!

Due to the growing number of registrations, the Qualification stage will be split into two events, each lasting approximately two hours:

First half of rounds: 24.05.2025 at 16:00 UTC
Second half of rounds: 25.05.2025 at 16:00 UTC

We encourage you to participate in both rounds. However, if you are unable to attend one of them, you can still qualify by participating in just one.

Currently we are aiming for 32 players to advance from in qualification, but thus number can be increased if amount of registration will grow significantly. The final number of advancing players will be posted on 24.05.2025 and will not change.

Events Attendance Rules

• If a player does not attend the event, they will receive a technical loss in all of their matches against players who were present.
• If there is a round in the first event that includes a match in which both players were absent, that match will be moved to the second event.
• If there is a match in the second event where both players were absent, the match will be canceled with no result.

Technical losses or wins do not affect a pilot’s ELO rating.

Events Attendance Criteria

To be considered an event attendee, a player must join the server and type /d in the chat within 30 minutes of the event’s start time.

Disconnect Rules

If a player disconnects during the event:

• A player receives a loss for the current duel upon disconnect.
• If the player does not reconnect within 5 minutes, he receives a technical loss for the ongoing match if it consists of multiple duels.
• If the player does not reconnect within 10 minutes, he receives a technical loss for all pending matches in the current event.
