Hello VIRPILs!

We’re excited to announce that aircraft type support has been added to the Duel Server! You can now participate in duels using different aircraft. The rating system calculates and displays your rating for each specific aircraft type on our webpage. You can easily switch between aircraft types at any time, with all your progress being calculated and saved for each type. We view aircraft types as classes in competition, allowing you to choose the one that suits you best or compete in all classes.

We’ve added the !select command, which you can use to select the type you want to duel in. Just type !select in the chat, followed by the number of the type you want to use, or use any type to request a duel in any available type.

In addition to the existing P-51D type, we’ve added the F-18C. Please let us know which other types you’d like to see in the duel mission!

Moreover, helicopter pilots can now duel on the server too! We’ve added support for helicopter duels, starting with the Ka-50. The duel rules are the same as for aircraft duels, but opponents start from the ground. Just type !select in the chat and select the Ka-50 type to try it out!
